How high's the water, Mamma?.....

.....four foot high and risin'. Sorry, my high school science teacher used to sing that song to us during our tests, for some reason it just popped into my head.

Here are a few pictures from today's flood. The rain is still coming down in buckets, too. We dismissed school before 9:30 today because of flooding, Hwy 223 South of Viola was closed because water was running 3 feet over a bridge just outside of town we had 3 or 4 buses that had to turn around and backtrack to get kids home because they couldn't get past the bridge . The way it looks, we may be home again tomorrow.

The bottom 2 pictures are Big Creek in Viola right at the bridge. The 3rd from the bottom is Big Creek behind Viola Baptist church, notice the basketball goals, those are usually pretty far from the creek bank. The top picture is the campground on the Southfork River just outside of Salem on Hwy 9 North. I've got a few more I'll add in a few minutes.
